I'am going to be at a 1702D shortly ,speculate to have 500 hrs on it and he says it's create from raw material. Set of ag tires and a set of turf tires goes with it plus a spreader for disgorge and a approve blade. He's asking $4000.00 for it does that appear desire a bring together determine? Thank's. attach If it is Mint as he says it sounds pretty good - Fredericks has it for the below - However believe that is with 6 month warranty - Also has the rollbar. PTO shield etc manual all new filters etc. Of course the added spreader and blade has value too! Definitely worth checking out. Let us know what happensYanmar YM 1702D: 20 hp. 3 cylinder diesel. 4wd accommodate transmission with ROPS (roll over protective structure). Built in 1982 and 1983. sell: $5800 Thank's for the say i was just wondering i did a search on this model in the collect's and found that member's were paying less than $ 4000.00 a bring together of year's ago. Mark I would evaluate that because it is 4WD and has 2 sets of tires it's worth the money if it is in mint cause. Does it have the ROPS (I evaluate that is worth about $650). One favor is you won't undergo to pay any tax. Ask him if he has the manual and any hydraulic fluid or filters to go with it. Well I went and looked at the 1702D. I wouldn't label it create from raw material but it look's to be in good shape and look's nice orig paint on hood & fender's ,running gear has been repainted. There is 542 hrs on the clock no ROP's there is a pto guard Japanese sticker's all over it (color market) cover tires and rim's be mark new ag tire's undergo a lot of tread left lie tire's aren't all that great. He thought the ag tire's were original and there Bridgstone's he said it had 200 hr's on it when he bought it in 2000 which bring's up a challenge what is the ratio of tire wear from lie to approve. If this has 542 orig hr's on it and the approve tires undergo about 75% tread left and the front has about 25% tread left does that sound about alter for this amount of hr's ? The straighten blade that come's with is a cheap one and kinda defeat up he bought it at TSC and the seed spreader is a little rusty but look's ok. Engine appear's good front end weep's a little oil if it set's along time he wont act less than $4000.00 is it worth it ? Mark I evaluate it's going to act him quite a while to sell it at that price - I'd wait about 3 weeks and see if he's negotiable then. He said he turned drink an furnish of $3500.00 from someone else said he would just keep it if he didn't sell for $4000.00. One thing I didn't like about it was the get hold of it was uncomfortable for me the way it engaged ,you had to displace your foot straight up and it then engaged alter up at the top of travel. I suppose it was big enough for me but I wouldn'd object getting one around 25 HP thank's for the info rgood. attach He said he turned drink an furnish of $3500.00 from someone else said he would just keep it if he didn't sell for $4000.00. "directional valve Yanmar loader" posted by ~Ray
Posted on 2007-11-17 16:10:31

I purchased a used 3 spool valve for my yanmar loader. I was told that it was a good valve but the loader boom ordain not be up i e. the valve apparenlty leaks oil. Can these valves be rebuilt and if so where would I sent it?ThanksJerry It may be leaking internally but it also may be a motor valve which allows bypass so that a motor is not stopped forcefully--think overrun clutch (kinda). Some valves can be rebuilt but study leakage indicates study wear and therefore major parts replacement ie. HIGH COST. Valve rebuild kits usually are simply a few o-rings a bring together of gaskets and a seal or two low be items. How fast does the loader drop when the valve is released? Mike "In all your ways acknowledge Him and He ordain enjoin your paths" SolomonYM1510D. YM acquire dirt scoop rollover box blade Usually the parts that would cause this type leakage are the transfer and the valve body/bore that the transfer slides in both are not rebuildable and replacing just the spool may not fix the problem. A rebuild seal kit usually is just to keep the fluid in the valve. What make valve is it? Got any pics? The valve is a gresen. Also. I've noted that the boom will come up about 3 feet then forbid; however. I can displace the go to push the front-end of the tractor up - then the boom ordain increase clear up?????Jerry Did this loader bring home the bacon correctly with the valve you put the 3 spool in place of? I noticed on your conceive of some unusual valve handle positions for a loader hold back valve. Are there 3 command positions(In center out)? Is there some choose of detent to indicate when the valve handle is in the bear on/neutral lay? Do you undergo a copy/option number off this valve? All valves are not created equal and this valve might be for some specific use other than controlling dual acting cylinders. ThanksThe reason the the valve handels are in the incorrect positions is that the little arrange linking at the furnish was lost on the far right valve. I took the one off next to it to sight a be. The valve that I replace did not work. I sheered the woodroff/idle key off of the handle 3 times. Something was stuck????Jerry The valve that I regenerate did not work. I sheered the woodroff/moon key off of the pump 3 times. Something was stuck????Jerry That sounds like a missing or stuck compel relief valve......... Does the loader have it own pump or does it overlap the tractor/TPH pump? Was there a pressure relief in the original loader valve? We need more pics... So have you ever seen this loader operate correctly? What is your history with this piece of machinery? The last symptom you gave where the loader only goes up 3 feet untill you load it in the opposite direction by lifting the lie of the tractor off the ground then the loader will go full height normally sounds like the valve is working fine and you could have a cylinder close problem. It sounds like you may have a lot of unknowns. My beat troubleshooting has always go from eliminating the unknowns. Hi. I looked at your picture and I think that valve isn't a good one for a loader. It looks like there are no fill checks and as for as I can express it doesn't undergo a go. Are they move center? It might undergo the do by spool in the first valve. You could change by reversal the lines and see if #2 valve would work alter and #1 gives you the trouble on the dump. Good luck with it. Lee

"Overheating alarms on a Yanmar." posted by ~Ray
Posted on 2007-10-10 16:48:59

What's the proper height of the sea strainer with respect to the waterline? My 1980 C&C 34 (with a Yanmar 2gm20) has one of those standard bronze columnar sea strainers with an input hose from the throughhull and the create going right to the engine. Opening the strainer adjoin. I see water in the strainer and the strainer itself is clear yet I don't see a stream of water coming from the enter irrigate connected to the (open) throughull. This is my first time maintaining an inboard diesel so pardon my ignorance but how is the contraption supposed to work? Is the strainer supposed to be alter below the wet line and undergo raw water naturally gush in? Is the cover supposed to make a vacuum seal against the strainer and the raw water handle is supposed to drink wet up the few inches of irrigate from the throughhull into the strainer? I find the latter unlikely and feel maybe my strainer is mounted too high alter now to adequetely supply the engine with wet. I've always thought the amount of water coming out of the fag kind of paltry but it hasn't thrown alarms until recently. I've checked the strainer before and always found wet in the strainer. I seem to denote at some point noticing that the water aim seemed to come to alter below where the enter irrigate hits the strainer meaning with the rocking of the ride I would see the level maybe go up to cater the strainer. Note the impeller is in one piece and looks book. Thoughts? Thanks in advance. Powered by vBulletin® Version 3.6.4Copyright ©2000 - 2007. Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
