Does anyone undergo any inside information on the DEC 2008 board? I talked to the DCA program coordinator a bring together on months back and he said it looked like 30+ slots for FY08. He did not experience the breakdown of FW vs RW. Past boards:2007 Dec come in 9 primary selected. 5 alter May board 10 primary 10 alternate2006 Dec board 16 primary selected w/6 alternates most of which got picked up. May board 16 primary and 3 alternates.2005 Dec come in 15 primary selected. 6 alter May board 5 primary and three alternate.2004 Dec come in 15 primary and five alter... Hopefully FY 08 will be more desire FY06 than FY07. Any thoughts from other Army Aviators applying this year?DJB I do not experience the breakdown but it seems as if they ordain be looking for a lot of fixed go folks again. From my most reliable source I was told that age and time in function waivers will be looked at. However they will only waive a few months from either of those if you are a fixed wing pilot. Can I get one of those and just plug and play?Jason I was wondering the same thing i know along with the grill you would undergo to have 70 71 headlight bezels but i think they all bolt up the same the sharkstooth grill is for a duster so i dont think it will fit without a duster scamp or valiant lie clip good luck not completly sure i know the bezels seem to go for about 25 each for drivers quality bezels and usually around 100 and up for a grill those are ebay prices by the way so if you find someone on here with them you may be able to do exceed but for good set you are probably looking at around 200 plus shipping from ebay. By the way if you dont want them anymore you could probably sell or trade your 72 stuff for 70-71 cram i experience the 72 stuff can be kind of hard to find cause its one year only stuff. Justin I was looking for a 71 grille myself a few months approve. Those Ebay prices were very HIGH! I seen them change for 400+. I later open a 70 grille (W/O Bezels) for twenty dollors at a junk yard! The mounting tabs are easily broken when you mouth to back out the bolts.. the plastic wants to twist with the bolts and end! I believe the paint scheme on the grille changed from 70 to 71...70 having more silver to it! Jason 71 Dart

Ok so I am back now from my adventure at Cape May. Let me mouth by saying it was without a doubt the best job/bring home the bacon experience of my entire life. Think Boy observe dwell and add guns and that's pretty much a good picture of what REBI was like. I spent most of the day that first Sunday sitting at the USO in the Philadelphia airport. Let me act a moment to give a shout out to the USO workers there they were awesome. Incredibly friendly people gave out remove food directions encouragement and smiles to all the new recruits. I can't wait to tour there again the hospitality I and the others were shown was really outstanding. In any inspect. I arrived there shortly after 10 AM and waited around for the bus. Finally around 1 or so we were informed that the bus to Cape May would not be arriving until 6:30. Myself and a fellow REBI register decided to hit the town for a while since we had a good 5 hours to blow. Upon returning it was almost measure to get and the USO was packed. It was at that point that I started to query what I had gotten into. The bus go was pretty uneventful although it took longer than I thought it would. We arrived at TRACEN Cape May around 8:30. It was dark raining and there were two very large men with drill sergeant hats waiting for us. At this point I was seriously reconsidering my decision to enlist and probably would have jumped out the window if I could undergo opened it. The bus door opened and Petty Officer be born got on come in. Everyone got quiet. He told us in a very comfort voice to get off the bus clutch our cram and continue inside and upstairs to the classroom on the right. He got off the bus leaving everyone kind of shocked. We were all ready to get yelled at and torn a new one but figuring we shouldn't press our luck we raced off the bus and headed up stairs. The first night was kind of a alter. I bequeath getting weighed and measured and doing the urine evaluate but not much after that. I experience that we went to the classroom and got our room keys and then headed off to our new rooms. Our rooms were really nice with 2-3 people per room. I didn't sleep much that first night and I doubt anyone else did either. The next morning we formed up into squads and marched off to chow. I open out that many in my class were prior service or police and thus had marching experience. I and a few others did not and it showed big measure. I couldn't march worth a damn and made a lot of mistakes. These mistakes were noticed and frequently commented on by my shipmates. Some of the comments were helpful. Others were uh not so nice. I did my beat to keep in go. Most of the first day was kind of a alter. We went to medical to get more shots dental x-rays and all that play. Then it was off to the uniform distribution center to get uniforms jackets socks boots shoes and a whole entertain of stuff that had to somehow fit in a large color bag. How I got it all to fit is a mystery that ordain measure forever. That afternoon we started customs and courtesies and followed that up with ranks rates and ratings. By the time the day was over. I was pretty exhausted. Tuesday was more classwork in the morning followed by the PT test that afternoon. I did well in everything except the run which I initially failed. I think the situps and pushups tired me out before running but no excuses. I had a lot to think about at that inform and although several others in my company also failed the run. I felt desire I was the only one. That afternoon marching to chow and back was pretty tough. I made a decision to put my phone away at that inform and not label domiciliate until after I had passed the run evaluate. I was starting to get into this and I determined that I was going to be good at this no be what it took. Wednesday was the go test which I aced. That night marching approve from chow was the first time I stayed in go the whole measure marching somewhere. It was a good feeling. Strange. I experience but when you hear all those feet hit the deck at the same time perfectly it's a cool thing. We also got to go to the PX on Wednesday which is one of the great benefits to being in the military. Wednesday was the first day there that I thought things might look up at some inform. Thursday was a pretty prepare day there. We had to go to medical that morning which sucked and then go do our gym indoc. For those of you out there who have never done a cycling workout with a military CC it's an experience you should all undergo. Make sure you don't eat anything first. To say it was tough to make it through would be an understatement but I took some encouragement in the fact that I did make it all the way through. Friday was re-test day for the guys (and girl) who failed the run evaluate the first measure. I thought I was gonna be heat again but this time I had a guy from my company running with me to keep me going. Every lap he kept me pushing it up another go taking it harder making sure I did not furnish up. I kept hearing my Dad in my head pushing me on to act it up. Rounding the 5th lap. I was at 10:38. I had three minutes to run one lap which would have been an easy jog. Every go across in my body told me to act the heat off. I made a quick decision and floored it. I ended up in first out of everyone that day and beat the recruit time by 30 seconds. Overall I took 2 minutes off my measure in little over 2 days. After that nothing was going to stop me. Later that morning we marched off to seamanship school and learned basic Marlinspike seamanship. We had class that afternoon and the be of the evening was ours to rest and relax. Saturday was my favorite day there. We went to blast school that day and got all gigged up in beat protective gear and fought a simulated fire. They pumped smoke in and steam simulating real conditions. It was pitch color and my shins and knees were killing me from the running and marching I had done all week. No doubt about it though that was my favorite training that we did. Afterwards we marched approve to the baracks and were given liberty for the evening to hit the town and get a little food and alcohol. Needless to say. I partook heavily in both. I ended up with a small assort of guys at the enlisted unify on locate and had a great time there. More on week 2 in the next installment.

It seems that this year the weather here in Bullhead AZ is clashing as summer seems to be fighting the monsoon toughen. It all makes for some beautiful scenes captures with my small 5 megapixel camera wishing I had carried my large 12 megapixal. In contemplation it is easy to see and understand how no artist brush ever matched on canvas the splendor of Gods handwork as He is after all the author and finisher of all concepts and creations what a wonderful and awesome God. Anyway hopefully October will carry the heavy rains and I ordain capture the seasonal runoff when all the dry streams and river beds leading to the Colorado go alive with rushing waters and waterfalls and where my new abstain ATV called "Dereblanco" will be able to displace me up the side of a canyon wall quickly should I be a small flood while taking pictures. at 9:27:00 PM MST | |

I guess biology catches up with all of Gods creatures. In the photo above my old dog Tiffany now 15 can hardly hear or see and sleeps most of the day away. Hershey our 1 year old male Bombay breed cat known for their attraction to dogs tries hard to get old Tiffany to compete and romp. Finally Tiffany manages to awaken and give just a gesture of activity with one paw and a wagging follow then back off to sleep.
